Here's what I know: women need connection right now. Real connection — not another obligation squeezed in between everything else. I'm someone who always has a project going, but I also tend to prioritize the functional stuff — the things that need to get done. I don't always put connecting and laughing first, even though I know I should. So this year, I'm creating space for it. For us. Needle felting is calming, grounding, and weirdly meditative. Over eight years, I've learned that stabbing wool with a tiny needle is surprisingly therapeutic. You'll slow down, use your hands, laugh with women who get it, and make something meaningful. This class covers the foundations so you can keep felting at home. But really, it's about connection, good conversation, and creating more cute, colorful creatures to remind us to pause and find the good stuff. No experience needed — just show up as you are, ready to stab some wool. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN - How to use needle felting tools safely - The basics of wool types (core wool and colored wool) - Building a firm base shape - Attaching elements and refining form By the end, you'll understand both the how and the why — so you can keep creating at home. WHAT YOU'LL MAKE: A small felted creature (about 3 inches tall), guided by your own sketch and intention. Each one is unique — shaped by your design and meant to hold a message of your choosing: encouragement, comfort, strength, or joy. A reminder of what you created with your own hands. You'll leave with a finished piece to keep or gift. My hope is that you leave feeling connected — to yourself, to others, and to a creative practice that brings genuine joy. A small but powerful alternative to the noise of the world.
