This bunny is sitting very still and pretending she did not eat your lettuce. She is built over a wire armature and wrapped in core wool, then surface felted in cloud white roving worked to a soft brushed finish. Her tall ears are felted flat and shaped separately, with pale peach blended up the inside of each one and a wisp of buttery cream along the edge. The same peach shows up as a little heart shaped nose and a soft blush on one cheek. Her eyes are faceted green glass set deep into the felted socket, which is what gives her that alert, ready to bolt look. The gentle halo of loose fiber around her head is made with a reverse felting needle so she reads as fur instead of felt. 100% wool, no molds, no glue. Approx. 5 inches tall.
